① Guidance to your seat

The tea master will guide you to your seat. You may sit in the traditional seiza style or in a more comfortable position.

② Explanation of Tea Ceremony

During a tea ceremony experience, you can receive explanations from the tea master about the proper usage, significance, and history of the tea utensils.

③ Tea making by the tea master

The tea master will perform the “temae” ceremony and make tea for you. You will quietly and respectfully enjoy the tea and Japanese sweets.

④ Enjoying the tea

You will then enjoy the tea you made yourself, quietly and respectfully.
